In celebration of Goldie Hawn’s 74th birthday — yes, she really is 74 years old! — on Nov. 21, her daughter Kate Hudson posted an adorable photo on Instagram. It showed Hawn with her 13-month-old granddaughter, Hudson’s daughter, Rani Rose on her knee, and in the caption, Hudson paid tribute to her “beautiful Mama.”

“The two most important ladies in my life and it happens to be one of their birthdays Happy Birthday beautiful Mama@goldiehawn #HipHipHooray ” Kate, 40, wrote.

Hawn was quick to respond, commenting, “Oh! I love you my baby girl!!”

It’s not the first time Hudson has shown the sweet bond between her mom and her baby girl on social media. In 2018, she shared an adorable photo of Hawn, together with her longterm partner Kurt Russell doting on newborn Rani Rose, who is the youngest of the couple’s six grandchildren. Kate also has two sons: Ryder Robinson, 15, and Bingham Hawn Bellamy, 8. And Hawn’s son Oliver Hudson has three kids with his wife, Erinn Bartlett: son Bodhi Hawn Hudson, 9, son Wilder Brook Hudson, 9, and daughter Rio Laura Hudson, 6.

Oliver, 43, also paid a photo tribute to his famous mom on her 74th birthday, but he chose to do it in quite a different way. His Instagram post was a true throwback: a shot of Hawn in a green bikini with words and symbols painted on her body. “Happy birthday day to this girl who happens to now be my mother!!!!” he wrote in the caption, adding, “And I apologize for stretching your stomach but your bounce-back was all world.. I love you Ma! Keep saving the world! @goldiehawn”

Hawn responded to Oliver’s post with, “Oh honey. I love you and my tummy that held you. It served us well!?”

Oliver’s Instagram followers were quick to pay their own tributes to Hawn. “I love her! Her outlook on life is a beautiful kaleidoscope of color,” wrote one, while another called Hawn a “goddess of beautiful souls.”

The picture itself — from the TV comedy sketch show “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In,” which ran from 1967 to 1973, took many on a nostalgia trip. “I remember watching Laugh-In reruns with my mom and being totally awestruck by Ms Goldie!” wrote one fan.

We think Hawn is just as gorgeous as ever — especially in those loving pictures with her grandchild! Happy birthday!
