Walmart Is Selling Hostess Fruitfetti Donettes For A Limited Time

I am the type of person who likes to bake cupcakes and cookies and bundt cakes just so I can lick the bowl. And the whisk. And the spoon. And the spatula. And then eat the aforementioned baked goods. Singlehandedly. In one day.v

But there are some pastries I prefer to leave to the professionals. Professionals like Hostess, who are the geniuses behind Twinkies, Ding Dongs and — my personal favorite — those chocolate cupcakes with the white squiggle on top.

And then there are the Donettes, packs of mini donuts available frosted, glazed, powdered and more, packs that you could probably eat in a single sitting, though I refuse to confirm this on a personal level. If your basic 10.5-ounce bag of traditionally-flavored Donettes isn’t exciting enough, though, you’re in luck — Hostess is releasing Fruitfetti Donettes for a limited time, which will be available exclusively at Walmart.

A rep for the brand told Delish that the new product features the brand’s “signature sweet donut batter, cooked to golden brown perfection with a burst of fruity flavor in a fun colorful crumb coating.” Yum? Could someone run out and pick some up for me?

These 9.5-ounce bags of Fruitfetti Donettes are retailing for just $2, which is basically nothing for the chance to gorge yourself on bite-sized donuts with fruit-flavored crumbs. In fact, Instagram user @matt.holder.92 has already confirmed that they’re delicious:

He also seems unwilling to share, not that we can blame him.

We think it’s a darn shame that these Donettes will only be available for a limited time, but at least we know that Hostess is always releasing new and delicious ways for us to ingest way too much sugar. Near the end of 2018, Hostess began selling cereals modeled on their powdered Donettes and, last month, we learned that we could start stocking up on Twinkies-flavored coffee. Where will it all end? Don’t they know I have zero self-control?

Are you excited about the Fruitfetti Donettes? Which sugar-laden food do you think they should create next?
